Elizabeth Park Fall Engagement Session | Trenton, MI

So much fun and madly in love! These words are exactly what you think of while looking through this gallery of J and N. The beautiful fall foliage was showing off for its last few days of color for their Elizabeth Park engagement session. We started the session off a little rocky, upon arrival N was distressed about her makeup. She had it professionally done and just said, I really don’t feel like it looks like me, it just seems so overdone. I stressed how gorgeous she was (so true!) and said hey, let me grab a few photos of the two of you, and show them to you first since makeup looks a little different on camera vs IRL. After showing her a few snaps, I could just tell that she felt uncomfortable. I said hey, go to CVS and grab what you need to add/remove any makeup so you feel like yourself. I’d rather you love your photos forever and plaster them on your walls than just keep them on your harddrive to never look at them again. N was absolutely shocked and so thankful at this opportunity. I enjoyed a few minutes of quiet insta scrolling (a rare commodity in mom life). As soon as they arrived back, I could tell that her confidence was back! We went back and snapped a few photos and I showed the difference and N was absolutely beaming. It’s the little things that make the difference in a custom engagement session experience.
